Two universities - the University of Saskatchewan and Waterloo University - offer master's degree programs that students may choose in lieu of modules 1 through 5.
The Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) program at the U of S is delivered over two summers. After completing the second summer, MPAcc students enter the CASB program at UFE Prep (Module 6) and then write the UFE in September. The Master of Accounting (MAcc) program at Waterloo is designed to combine professional accounting career interests with preparation for professional exams.
To earn the CA designation, graduates from either program must complete a three-year term of experience with an approved CA Training Office.
Visit the MPAcc or MAcc program websites for more details.
