The evaluation at the end of each of modules 1 through 5 is four hours long, and, depending on the module, includes a combination of multiple choice questions, multi-subject questions, and comprehensive case simulations.
There is no break between question types and students can decide how to spend the time (though CASB will provide recommendations).

Each comprehensive case simulation and multi-subject question is designed to evaluate specific competencies through a set of issues that the response should cover. Each issue has several elements that must be met to demonstrate competency.
The documents below contain a sample question, its assessment guide, and a sample response with reviewer comments. The examples for modules 2, 3, and 5 illustrate different question lengths and wouldn't necessarily be asked on the same evaluation day.
