Please note that 2013 UFE Prep case reviewers can apply to mark for any (or all) case review centres.

2013 UFE Prep review centre rates

Simulation of the Day: $250 flat fee
Practice Evaluation #1: $65 per paper, $60 per one hour counselling session, $150 bonus if consistency paper assessed in CE
Practice Evaluation #2: $18 to $25 per paper, $50 bonus per consistency paper assessed in CE
Simulated UFE Day 1: $65 per paper, $150 bonus if consistency paper assessed in CE
Simulated UFE Day 2 and 3: $18 to $25 per paper, $50 bonus per consistency paper assessed in CE
Borderline, Arbitration, Appeals (by invitation): $60 per hour

Information for returning UFE Prep case reviewers

An invitation was sent to all returning UFE Prep case reviewers by email on March 7, 2013. Please note that returning UFE Prep case reviewers are those reviewers who attended a UFE Prep review centre in 2011 or 2012. If you are a returning case reviewer and you didn’t receive an invitation to apply for the 2013 session, please email: jennifer.reed@casb.com

Information for new UFE Prep case reviewers

If you are a CA in good standing with your provincial Institute and are interested in applying to become a UFE Prep case reviewer, please complete this application form and email it to UFEPrepAdmin@casb.com no later than May 15, 2013. CASB will be sending out invitations to successful applicants in late May 2013.

All applicants are required to attend a remote training session held during the first two weeks of June 2013. There will be several training sessions provided over this two week period. In addition to completing the remote training session, applicants are required to mark a paper that is assessed by a team of experienced markers. The results of this assessment will be used for hiring decisions.

•  a current CASB student who has successfully challenged the UFE

and you are interested in mentoring UFE candidates in 2013, please provide your name and contact details (preferred email and/or telephone number) to Jennifer Reed, Director of UFE Prep at: jennifer.reed@casb.com by May 31, 2013.

CASB will post the 2013 UFE Prep mentor list on the UFE Prep website. Please note that all transactions are to be negotiated directly between mentor and mentee. This includes rate of pay, timing of pay and provision of services.
